Zatrivan Suvorov – Psylliostachys suworowii syn. Limonium suworowii of the Plumbaginaceae family is a species, which rarely grows in our gardens, although it does not cause problems in cultivation. Adverse weather conditions (chill and frequent rainfall) however, they can reduce the quality of its flowers. Suvorov's Zatrivan creates a rosette of butt-verse lanceolate leaves with wavy edges, length to 15 cm. Pink-lilac flowers grow in narrow, cylindrical and branched spikes of various lengths. Inflorescence shoots grow up to height 50 cm. They bloom all summer. After cutting the inflorescences, the next ones grow out of the leaf rosette, although shorter and less branched. Plants dry well with the herbal method (tied in bunches, they hang down with flowers, in the dark, a dry and warm room). They can be used in various flower arrangements. They look charming, for example, in combination with the white-silver after drying annual menstrual period. On flowerbeds, on the other hand, it looks impressive in the company of purple sage. The requirements and cultivation are similar to the spherical kraspedia.
